A lot of people don't register their child for free school meals even though they're entitled. That's why we've included the following information to encourage people to check if they're eligible.

Although all infant children receive a free meal everyday, please register for free meals, as then Manor Park will benefit. The school will get £1,455 a year from the government for each child entitled to pupil premium. 

Your child may be able to register if you (or the young person themselves, where appropriate) get any of the following:

• Universal Credit

• Income Support
• Income-based Jobseeker's Allowance
• Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
• Support under Part IV of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
• The Guarantee element of State Pension Credit
• Child Tax Credit (provided you're not also entitled to Working Tax Credit and have an annual gross income of no more than £16,190)

Who may be supported by Pupil Premium Funding?

Students who may be supported by Pupil Premium include:

• students who are eligible to register for free school meals or who have claimed FSM in the last six years
• students who are looked after by the Local Authority, and
• the children of Armed Service families
